Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us.
Have you ever had the privilege of praying out loud with a mate just before drifting off to sleep at night? There are not many things more comforting than that, hearing your name brought before the King of the universe by your beloved, beseeching the throne of grace on your behalf.
Have you ever had a friend drop everything and pray for you, no matter where you are, whether sitting in a restaurant, standing in a parking lot or your own classroom? There are not many things more validating than that.
Have you ever had a prayer partner, one who has committed to pray for and with you during a set time or challenging period in your life, who you can reach out to no matter the time of day or night? There are not many things more encouraging than that—except one.
The Bible says that Jesus is interceding for us (Romans 8:34). Can you imagine hearing Jesus bringing your name before the King of the universe, pleading on your behalf, presenting your interests before the mercy-seat in the heavens? There is nothing more comforting or validating or encouraging than that.
Jesus is the Ultimate Prayer Partner.
What’s on your heart today? Won’t you bring it to Him?
Dear Jesus, thank You for interceding on my behalf. Because You gave Your life for me, I know I can trust You with all my concerns, even the minute details of my day.
