Meet Desiree Spears
A long-time resident of southern Maryland, Desiree is a retired public high school teacher. Active in her church Calvary Grace Assembly of God, she serves as trustee, greeter and women's small group leader.
Education & Career
Desiree earned an A. A. in General Studies at Charles County Community College, followed by a B. S. in Business Administration/Accounting from Salisbury State College. She logged 20 years experience in the field of accounting before switching careers in 2004 to become a public school teacher. She completed her master's degree in education at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland.
Teaching
Desiree has taught all ages from infant to adult. Her 25+ years experience in teaching includes:

Acting
Desiree is a founding member of The Newtowne Players and played the female lead in its debut production of Love Letters. She also appeared in The Point and in a History Channel docu-drama Desperate Crossing: The Untold Story of
the Mayflower.
Family
Desiree has raised three children and welcomed a daughter-in-law, two sons-in-law, two granddaughters, seven grandsons and two step-grandsons.
